These services are intended for pets that have recently received veterinary care and to help the clients with the care needed at home.
Pets that require more monitoring such as sick pets or pets with chronic illnesses, pets that recently had surgery, elderly or infant pets, hospice care pets, disabled pets, and pets with fears/anxiety are some of the pets we can help.
Medication Administration
Types: oral, eye, ear, topical, transdermal, etc.
(As prescribed by your current Veterinarian)
For pets that do not like to take their medication.
Injections & SQ Fluids
Injections: Insulin, SQ, IM.
SQ fluids administration
(As prescribed by your current Veterinarian)
Vet Tech Consults
Desensitization for fearful pets: to nail trims or other grooming procedures, to vet appts or procedures.
At home care lessons: how to give insulin injections or SQ fluids.
Cat behavior consults: inappropriate urination, feline aggression.
Feeding Assistance
For pets that may need to be syringe fed, hand fed, or tube fed (Experience with NE, E, and G tubes).
We are experienced bottle feeding neonates (baby animals).
Monitoring & Care of Pets
after surgery or hospitalization
Checking Vitals (Temperature, Heart/Respiratory Rates)
Monitoring hydration status, pain levels, CRT, checking for
pressure sores, etc.
We can also send results directly to your veterinarian.
Other Assistance with Pet Care
Bladder expression, Tick removal and Soft Paws application.
Sometimes when pets get sick the veterinarian will prescribe care or medication that pet owners struggle to give at home. We work with you and your vet to make sure your pets get all the care they need to feel better. Please contact us with any questions.
Additional Information
All Vet Tech Care services are performed as prescribed by and under the care plan of your veterinarian.
Pawsitive Mobile Vet Tech cannot prescribe medications, diagnose conditions, or alter any instructions provided by your veterinarian.
We work alongside you and your veterinarian to perform care needed for your pet in your home.
